Worsely Works makes two kits of the coaches used in the Leek&Manifold railway. Together with a Kestrel coach plastic kit, they are the only coaches available for modelers of British narrow gauge in N scale. The Brake Composite has been etched in nickel silver and the Third class coach in Brass.
When I ordered the two kits I was offered a kit for a Leek&Manifold style locomotive, but more on this later.
The kits come packaged with very basic instructions, it took me a while to understand how th e parts would fit, there is still one piece which I haven't the slightest idea where to use.
The kits provide a basic wheel frame, but as written in the instructions, I will use third party boggies (and couplers).
Micro-Trains has a good range of couplers and boggies, they even make marklin style couplers, which I will use in this project.
